Yesterday evening the Northwest Nazarene University gymnasium caught fire. We just happened to be leaving the house about that time and followed the smoke to campus. It was a crazy scene. It seems as though we were not the only people that were drawn toward the smoke. The traffic was horrible everyone in town seemed to be in a couple block radius of the university. There were groups of people running down the road to get a better view. We managed to take a couple photos.

I would write a long post on how stupid this guy is but really I don’t think it’s necessary. I’m glad he cleared up any confusion we may have been having.

The doors opened at 7 a.m., and organizers had planned for about 8,800 people. They were reconfiguring the arena and opening up additional space to let even more people in. The crowd was estimated at more than 14,000 by the Associated Press.
